It's a brand new year so I thought I'd repost "How I Save Big" for those of you that are new to my blog. I do hope it is helpful and welcome any questions or comments.
Let me start by saying that I am no WRITER (which seems funny since this is a blog) but, like my little jabber jaw, I just can't stop talking about a GOOD THING and this is a GREAT THING.
COUPONS!!!!!! Yes, you heard me. I've been saving 50% and more at times just by using coupons for my groceries.
Here are my steps to saving BIG!!!!
FIRST, I have my Sunday paper delivered (Click
HERE to subscribe) and All You Magazine (this magazine is FULL of great coupons each month and has great rebate forms on top of that) Click below to subscribe. I also print coupons directly from the internet. My favorite online printing areas are Coupons.com and Coolsavings.com. NOTE: You can always print 2 of each coupon by hitting your back button.
SECOND, decide how you are going to file your coupons. I started out one way and then after a few weeks of trial and error I changed things. At first I cut and filed all coupons but for me that took up way too much of my time. Now, I simply file my coupon inserts (in tact) in a rolling file system by month and only clip the coupons I need.
Another option is using the couponizer system. Click the link below to find out more info on this one.

THIRD, match your coupons with ongoing sales for the maximum savings. I highly recommend
THE GROCERY GAME (please use refferal jnapatrick@united.net). You can get a 1 month trial for FREE. Yes, you are paying for it unlike some of the online free sites but it is so SIMPLE to use and will cut down on your time and hassle. I PROMISE you. AND, you can still use the freebie sites to enhance your savings. Many of those sites offer match-ups for printable coupons that
THE GROCERY GAME does not. Check out the Southern Savers Button below. They are my favorite!!!! NOTE: To acquire an adequate STOCKPILE you need to give yourself at least 12 WEEKS. Some sites boast it only takes 4 and yes you will see a significant reduction in your bill but your stockpile takes time. This is where I faltered in the past. I didn't give the program enough time to make it worth it for me. Stick with it and YOU'LL SAVE. PROMISE.
FOURTH, make sure to sign up with the electronic coupon sites that load your shopping cards directly.
UPromise.com,
Cellfire,
P&G Esavers and
Shortcuts are all a MUST.
FIFTH, take advantage of Free Coupon Booklets like Bisquick, BoxTops, Pillsbury and Quality Health. Note: You are signing up for their newsletters so if you don't want to cloud up your inbox you can always create another free email at yahoo for these.
SIXTH, go Drugstore shopping. Here you can get lots of beauty supplies FREE!!! Yes, FREE!!! They also have great rebate and register reward programs. Check out Southern Savers again for the low down on Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid and more. Note: These can be a little tricky but well worth the extra time in preparations.
That's it and you will SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!!!!
OH, let me add one more great grocery deal. This one isn't free but it has competitor coupons in it that can be used at Publix. Like $40 worth. That's $40 worth of free groceries!!!!! Click the picture link below if you don't already have an Entertainment Book. It has alot of other great coupons too. Well worth the expense.
